Maureen Kelly is the director of Data Governance at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI). She provides the vision and leadership for CIHI’s data governance initiatives and programs including data content standards, data stewardship and quality, internal and external data access and data ethics.
Ms. Kelly has over 25 years of experience in data and analytics. She had several leadership positions within CIHI. Prior to joining CIHI in 2003, she worked at the Office for National Statistics in the UK and Statistics Canada focusing on social and population health statistics.
Ms. Kelly holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University, England and a postgraduate certification in Applied Statistics.
